Shared vision is a unique two day program designed to engage leaders and employees in creating a shared vision for the organization. This program helps sharpen focus among all employees and improved decision making.
Studies suggest that almost sixty percent employees do not know or understand their company’s vision & mission. In the absence of connect with the vision, there is a lack of focus on an employee’s contribution to the overall company resulting in a siloed approach. An outcome of this is disengaged employees, lack of ownership and poor decision making.
Shared vision is a unique program designed to engage leaders and employees in creating a shared vision for the organization with an employee owning it as a part of himself. This program helps sharpen focus among all employees and improved decision making. Modalities of the program are
1. Pre Workshop: An understanding of the founder’s vision and plan for the year is understood by the trainers. This is done to make sure that there is a base expectation that is covered in the work shop.
2. During workshop: A one day program using theatre to step out of comfort zone and design thinking process to create an actionable vision for the company on a canvas/ soft board that the company can take back and hang at a place where the employees see it every day.
Key modules to be covered during the session are
Sparking Creativity: Participants to step out of their comfort zone and
start thinking creatively through a series of fun exercises
CEO's address: Founders address
Spark Ideas to create logical buckets: Generate individual ideas to move towards the vision. This will be done by using un constrained, non judgemental and un blocked approach. The ideas are then segregated into logical and discrete buckets
Building each bucket: Each bucket is picked and current strengths and weaknesses plotted on it. The teams are then split into two and each team builds the next level of details on an idea thus taking it to a logical action step. This is presented back to the leadership team for a final approval
Creating a vision board: A final vision board will be created over a canvas/ soft board. The team will paste pictures, draw objects and write statements with their signatures to own the vision of the company
