While the ''The Grumbling, Gambling, Gossiping, Gnawing '' Games in life and a lot more ''Gs'' may be tempting and easier to indulge in....''The Gratitude Principle'' is not an easy ballgame to play and live by! It calls for a conscious attitude and effort ''to be willing to learn a new behavior'' which involves a bit of ''selflessness'' if not a lot more. And on the contrary, it calls for ''unlearning the old Gs in our behavior''...
So who could these people be in our lives who stood by us unconditionally? Could they be our parents, some of our mentors/ coaches, friends, life partners, business partners, team members, colleagues, seniors, juniors, children ( yes children too have better grace than most of us adults have in us)?
This could even include people from the past who stood by us at some point in time, who tested us and taught us some concrete lessons but who may no longer be there in our present lives for the reasons that we best know!
Yes we say we value them yet we take them for granted, don't we ? Are we willing to start acting out of genuine gratitude towards these people? Remember ''not just saying'' but ''acting'' ! Let's try ''one step at a time''...
