A Brief Synopsis about Hemant Deshpande:
An Engineer by qualification, Hemant has 18 years of IT industry experience spanning across domains such as Banking & Finance, Insurance, Healthcare, Telecom, Utilities, Travel related services & GIS. He has 11 years of Management & Leadership delivering large global IT Transformation programs including large multi-year DW-BI engagements.
During his career he has worked with Fortune 100/500 clients such as American Express, Fidelity, Morgan Stanley, WellPoint, Fiserv Bank, Sprint & many others. He has travelled around the world working across the continents with varied cultures – North America, EMEA, Asia Pacific, India & China.
After completing his graduation in Electrical Engineering with Distinction, Hemant began his career in the IT Industry with Satyam (now Tech Mahindra) in the late 90’s. In his role as a Software Engineer Hemant was responsible for developing solutions to complex business problems using technology for renowned US companies.
From Satyam, Hemant moved on to IBM Global Services, a global giant in the world of IT & software development. At IBM, Hemant worked for Fortune 500 companies such as American Express, Sprint and IBM USA at their US development offices developing web applications using cutting edge technologies. He also led Technology Incubation Centre at IBM and made presentations to CXO level leaders, even at early stage of his career.
Moving up the career ladder, Hemant moved to Mastek Limited as Project Manager leading large distributed teams to deliver best in class technology solutions to Insurance companies such as CUNA, Aviva and others. Additionally, Hemant was responsible for Business Development across Europe region. He was also responsible for Recruitment, Talent Development, Strategy, Execution and Pre-sales processes.
Then he moved to Infosys Limited, one of the best IT services company in the world as Senior Project Manager managing a large portfolio of projects for top US Healthcare companies, WellPoint. He also played the critical role of Onsite Manager for 2 years working closely with the client senior management and business teams to provide Datawarehousing & Business Intelligence solutions.
Based on his stellar performance, he was given the responsibility to lead Business Intelligence practice for APAC at Dalian, China where he was responsible for managing many key accounts such as Fidelity, Morgan Stanley, Ameriprise and others. He was responsible for Business Planning, strategy, competency development, performance management and compensation design. Hemant hosted a number of CXO level meetings with key clients such as Fidelity, Bank of China and others.

Due to his passion for human development, Hemant decided to pursue Coaching & Training as a full time career leaving his highly paying job.
He is an internationally certified Executive Coach having coached a number of senior professionals on various topics such as career development, career transition, improving personal effectiveness, communication and achieving better work-life balance.
Even during his corporate career, Hemant has personally coached and mentored many of his Project Managers on performance, career, communication and personal effectiveness.

I have developed my own Coaching process which has proved to very effective with ALL my clients; yet it’s simple to understand and work with. A typical coaching program involves me working with you on the Phone or Skype for a series of 12 weekly sessions (about 3 months). Each coaching session lasts about an hour or so.
Step 1 – Describe your Goals
Initially, we talk about yourself and the unique challenges you’re going through and what GOALS are important for you.
Step 2 – Explore each Goal
Then we discuss about each of your goals and identify TOP 3 inspirational goals that you REALLY want to achieve. We also discuss about realistic timeframes for these goals. We will explore what has been stopping you to make progress and how to effectively tackle those challenges.
Step 3 – Create Game Plan
Once we become clear about what it is that you want, we’ll create an effective, systematic action plan that will take you from where you are to where you want to be. We’ll start with one small step at a time so as not to overwhelm you.
Step 4 – Time for Action
This is where you will start experiencing the power of ACTION and soon you will start experiencing success. As a Coach, I’ll hold you accountable for all the actions you said you will take.
Step 5 – Clearing the Roadblocks
As you build momentum, you’ll may get stopped or slowed down due to OLD HABITS and BELIEFS. I’ll help you challenge your own unhelpful habits and limiting beliefs that hold you back. This is where you start REINVENTING yourself trulys.
Step 6 – Results
You will start experiencing RESULTS and keep moving fasters towards your Goals. Don’t be surprised if you start setting even higher goals at this stage. Many of my clients have done that.
